U Raise 'Em, We Cage 'Em

I find it telling what our 'servants' really think of us behind closed doors.

Us Vs. Them, who started it?

NYPD Cops Demand the Right To Be Corrupt

Again, WHOM do you (allegedly) protect and serve?

Man reports date as burglar when girlfriend shows

Dude...two-timing is douchebaggery enough, but calling the cops on your booty-call when your real girlfriend shows up first is way beyond the pale.

Hey...at least he didn't SHOOT him. (10/29/2011)

Cop slapped dog out third-story window

My guess is he wasn't sure if he could actually HIT the dog with a shot, so he 'punted'.

Palm Beach County Commission considers suing Legislature over gun control

"That’s pretty onerous action to take against other elected officials," Marcus said. "It’s almost like bullying."

...said the pot to the kettle.

The state law preempting local regulation went into effect over 20 YEARS ago, and has been largely ignore by counties and municipalities who illegally prosecuted innocent citizens during that time precisely BECAUSE there were no penalties for doing so.

"I think (legislators) have overstepped," said County Commissioner Shelley Vana, a former legislator who supports pursuing the lawsuit. "Local control is extremely important."

Apparently, Vana, it's more important than the legally established, and constitutionally protected rights of your citizens. The truth of the matter is that you and your ilk have been flagrantly violating state law for over twenty years to the detriment of innocent victims, and are now being held personally liable (meaning taxpayer monies cannot be used to defend yourself or pay any penalties) for such actions in the future.

Isn't that what this is REALLY all about? That you are no longer able to claim 'above the law' status?

Michael Daragjati (10/21/2011)

Officer Faces Civil Rights Charges in Stop-and-Frisk Arrest

A search of the man revealed no contraband, but after he complained about his treatment and asked for the officer’s badge number, Officer Daragjati arrested him and charged him with resisting arrest, telling him that he did not like being disrespected, prosecutors said.

The next day, the government intercepted a phone call between Officer Daragjati and a female friend in which the officer complained that he had just gotten out of court on the stop-and-frisk case, but that it had been worth the hassle.“I sat there for a couple of hours by the time I got it all done but, fried another nigger,” the officer says on a transcript provided by prosecutors.

Note that he's facing FEDERAL charges, but only because he was caught as a result of a federal wiretap due to being under investigation for insurance fraud.  No doubt had the victim filed a complaint, the blue wall of silence would have closed rapidly around the officer and IA would have found no evidence of wrongdoing. The victim wouldn't stand a chance of seeing justice done.

Were it not for the wiretap, it would seem the victim would have been saddled with a (most likely felony) conviction for resisting arrest, based solely on the officer's testimony. For such an injustice perpetrated by an officer placed in a position of authority, I suggest a mandatory doubling of the maximum possible sentence the victim could have received be imposed upon the officer who tried to frame him.

California Gov. Jerry Brown - 10/14/2011

Warrant? We don't need no steenkin' warrants!
California Gov. Jerry Brown is vetoing legislation requiring police to obtain a court warrant to search the mobile phones of suspects at the time of any arrest.

Read that quote again, folks. The CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE enacted a law to protect the rights of citizens against abusive police practices, and Jerry Brown decides he doesn't like that. Not content to shred the Second amendment, he's now got his eyes set on the Fourth.

Jerry Brown, you truly are a Douche.

Yet another un-identified officer making threats. - 10/12/2011

"While Brown explained to the police that he was merely observing what was going on, an officer began walking toward him. That’s when the officer threatened to assault Brown."(language warning)

Making threats of unlawful physical violence against a passive observer in a public setting makes you a Douche, regardless of badge, uniform, or fancy hat.
